Educators registered with our scheme operate under their own business

Diversity Family Day Care Educators are professional, caring people who set up their homes to encourage and stimulate the child's learning.  They make regular observations of each child noting down their behaviour, interests and development then plan a program that will meet the individual child’s needs. They offer a warm, loving and nurturing environment, with the aim of providing good, consistent, quality care for your child to complement the family unit in all possible ways.

Requirements - all our Educators must have

• Qualifications - at lease Cert III in children’s Services or is enrolled and working towards it

• A clear and current Working with Children Check for themselves and for everyone over 18 residing at the family day care location

• a clear and current National Police Check;

• First aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificate;

• current Public Liability Insurance

• Double COVID-19 Vaccination

• a safe, smoke, drug and alcohol-free environment;

• a home that has a suitable area to provide family day care, and pass our safety and suitability checks

• provide a medical clearance from their doctor to demonstrate they are physically fit and able to care for the children
