My name is Dilini Jayasinghe. I'm an educator and a mother to a 4 year old daughter. I have been working in the childcare industry for over 6 years and I absolutely love working with children. I love watching them grow and develop.

I hold the following qualifications:

• Certificate iii in children service

• First aid certificate and CPR

• Anaphylactic / Asthma Management

• Public Liability insurance

• Current national police check

• 6 years experience in child care

 

My philosophy

As an educator and a mother, I believe in providing a safe, respectful and challenging environment that is suitable for children that is flexible and welcoming for both the children and their families.

I understand how important is to acknowledge each child's interests, abilities, culture and experience; demonstrating a belief that each child is a competent and capable person with individual  rights.

I believe in providing a loving, caring and respectful  environment for the children in my care. I believe families have a very important role in the child's life, therefore I value communication with families, in order to build a good partnership with them and provide the best care for their children.
