DIVERSITY FAMILY DAY CARE SCHEME

Family day care is an approved form of childcare that is run from the home of a family day care Educator. The Educator is a qualified professional with at least Cert III in Child Care Services. 

Family day care provides experiences which reflects the diversity of our community.

The role of Diversity Family Day Care Scheme is to offer support and to ensure our educators are mentored and supported to provide an excellent Education and Care service for children and families. We are committed to providing a high quality and friendly service and welcome all feedback, questions and suggestions for continuing improvement.

Family day care can provide education and care for children from babies to school age; offering the possibility for siblings to be cared for together, all in one location.
The home-based setting provides a familiar, safe, and secure learning environment. The small group environment creates strong bonds and promotes effective early learning and social development

Family day care operates under the same National Quality Framework (NQF) as other forms of childcare, adhering to national regulations, quality and qualification standards, educational frameworks and an assessment and ratings process.
