Little Teddies Family Day Care

I am a Qualified and passionate educator.

I did my primary and tertiary studies overseas and Diploma in Early Education and Care in Sydney.

I am mother of three beautiful daughters; I was an economics teacher in India and always loved working with children. I also worked as a Sergeant Major instructor under ministry of defence overseas.

In Australia I have worked in different positions with different organisations. I have been a school canteen co Ordinator and have also worked as teacher’s aide in different schools like Whalan Public, Emerton Public and Glendenning Public schools

My philosophy:

I aim is to ensure children feel safe, loved, valued, and included

I believe that children are unique individuals who bring their own special skills, talents, and experiences to my Family Day Care.

I aim to foster children’s learning through play which comes directly from their interests, experiences, needs and developmental abilities.

I provide nature-based play environments that promote a love for the natural world and encourage children to be active participants of their community with help of stimulating outdoor spaces which I have created for them with a focus on nature & sustainability.

I help them create relationship, which is based on trust and respect. This creates a sense of belonging for each child and supports their development and acknowledges each child’s cultural background.

I recognise the importance of families in children’s lives. Families bring a wide range of skills and knowledge to the service and are actively encouraged to collaborate by providing their feedback and inputs and by attending to my hosted festivals and get togethers.

I want to be the best – helping each child to reach their potential in early life which then forms the basis of their beautiful life ahead.
